The 1960s never really felt like a decade - it was more like a

century, at the very least, judging by the sheer amount of music

that was crammed into it. Music which embraced a wide gamut of

styles and sub-genres over those ten years. It's only fitting that

this 3CD retrospective of the era - which also encompasses all

of those styles - should contain the Beatles' very first single,

Love Me Do, since that's kind of where modern pop music
