What happens when an aspiring young actor crosses paths with a bad boy? Joel Holloway has been waiting for his big break to come along ever since he was eighteen. Now he's twenty-three and he's landed a few roles, but he still hasn't hit the big leagues. When he gets a job for a small movie in his hometown, he goes out to celebrate with a few friends and they end up at a bar featuring live music. After a mishap with incredibly handsome drummer Derrick Cross, Joel is invited to stay so he can get to know the scene a bit and explore the different opportunities the alternative group has to offer. Although Joel has to leave, Derrick extends his friendship and an invitation to hang out. Joel becomes incredibly attracted to Derrick and finds himself confused by these new conflicting feelings.
