Alex Loren has always known what he wants and he's not afraid to get it. Things are going great for him. He's training for qualifiers and might even go to the Olympics. Lucky for him, he's been handpicked by one of the best trainers in the United States to join a team of prestigious swimmers, some of whom are guaranteed to be representing the country in the most important sports event in the world. Not just that, but his best friend from high school, Brooks Zhang, is also there. Being in Detroit is already a dream come true for Alex and he knows that things can only get better. Brooks Zhang isn't quite as ambitious as his best friend, but being in Detroit and training for qualifiers is also a dream come true for him. And as strong as their bond is, they might not be able to survive scheming teammates, a coach who seems to have ulterior motives, and getting through to qualifiers. At least not together.
